Designated Supportive Living

Tuoi Hac Golden Age Manor is an operator of Designated Supportive Living Level 4. The program provides our residents care where they can enjoy privacy and independence with the comfort of knowing that their health and personal care supports are on site when they need them. The program includes accommodation, emergency call pendent necklaces, 3 meals per day, snacks, linen and towels changes and housekeeping services.

Room facilities includes walk-in showers if needed and all entrances and exits are wheelchair accessible.

There is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) that oversees care 24 hours a day on call at all times. Depending on the residents' care needs, scheduled professional care (nursing, rehabilitation therapy, etc.) will be provided through AHS and coordinated by their Case Manager, nursing services such as medication and bathing assistance are also available.

All persons living in Designated Supportive Living Units must be assessed by Alberta Health Services Authority & Alberta Health Services Supportive Living staff prior to being accepted at Golden Age Manor. The assessment includes a review of their medical and financial status.
